Quality craftsmanship
All Fx cabinets are designed and build by experts, with quality materials and building techniques. Designed with acoustic properties in mind, built with high quality baltic birch plywood, assembled with finger joint method, and finished with the greatest care, of the Fx cabinets are fine pieces of gear.
Features
Oval open back
The new back design with oval opening offers a better diffusion, with a more open sound, than a closed cab, while keeping a better bass response than a classic open-back cab design. When playing live, it’ll avoid the typical directivity of closed cab, and will offer better coverage of the stage. When used at home, it’ll offer a nice diffusion over the whole room, using the backing wall as a big diffuser, for a beautiful and enveloping sound.
High quality construction
The 1×12″ classic uses the highest grade baltic birch plywood, 18mm thick, for a massive and precise sound, with increased bass response. Finger joint assembly offers a great rigidity to the cabinet, even at high levels. Don’t be fooled by it’s compact size, the 1×12″ classic delivers more punch and a greater bass response than most 1×12″ cabinets on the market, even better than many 2×12″.

Magnifique cab compact, robuste et d’une finition exemplaire! Personnalisable, le mien est avec tolex noir marshall levant, clothgrill salt and pepper, piping gold, poignée rouge (comme sur l’ampli Dual) et est équipé en Celestion G12M65 Creamback.
Le son qui en ressort est superbe, les basses sont bien présentes tout en ayant un très bon équilibre dans toutes les fréquences. Il est parfait pour mon Ace Colt !

J’ai acheté ce cab équipé en Creamback pour accompagner mon Classic Plex, sur les conseils avisés de FX.
Je renvoie à cet égard à mon avis dédié à cette tête.
Sur le plan esthétique, la perfection atteinte sur le Classic Plex est au rendez-vous pour ce qui concerne le cab.
Sur le plan du son, étant habitué à jouer sur des 2X12 ou des 4X12, j’ai été agréablement surpris par ce petit monstre en 1X12.
Je recommande sans la moindre hésitation.
