Two channels of british fury, for all the rock you can cover.
A plexi channel, ranging from clean to Angus riffs. Wild but sharp, hot but never tiring, the first channel is a classic beast. Perfect for blues/rock licks with single coil pickups at lower gain settings, thanks to its bright cap, or heavier riff with a humbucker at higer gain settings. Sounds gorgeous with a touch of reverb in the loop, or with some modulated delay.
The second channel, with its JCM voicing, keep the same philosophy, but with more gain, and a slightly more aggressive character. Perfect for playing solos above the crunch channel, it can also play wilder rhythms, with controlled palm mutes, perfect for all the 80′ hard riffs. Without bright cap, it is also a little bit darker than the first canal at lower gain settings, so you can also use it as a pedal platform if needed.

Quiet play
The Colt uses the special “ultralinear master volume” technology, introduced by the Fxamps amplifiers, designed to play at any level, even at very low level at night. It even has a 20w/2w for the most quiet conditions.
No Bias System
Change your tubes yourself, at home, no equipment needed. Freely choose between 6L6 and EL34 power tubes, you can even mix a 6L6 and an EL34.
Big tubes
Were other amps uses cheaper EL84 tubes to get 20w, all ACE models uses big EL34 or 6L6 tubes, just like the big 100w stack amps. These big tubes give a more massive sound, with increased bass response, even a low level. BIG TUBES = BIG SOUND!
Lightweight construction
Aluminium construction keep the weight low, 7.5kg only in lunchbox version. It also keep the noise away, acting like insulation against electromagnetic perturbations.
